Missouri Pork Association looking for 2021 ambassador

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Pork Association is currently accepting applications for the 2021 Youth Pork Ambassador Program.

Director of Communications Diane Slater told KXCV/KRNW that the association works with students to become actively involved with people in the industry.

"A lot of great networking opportunities and really kind of gives you an insight to a different part of the industry because we work with both the production side and the show pick side. So whether you are involved in one or the other, you are kind of going to get a view of both sides of the industry."

Applicants must be a senior in high school, up to a sophomore in college. Applications and three letters of recommendation are due by Dec. 11.
